About Artwork by Rese

I started Artwork by Rese because I wanted to share my art with others. I began to make art as a way to help cope with depression (among other mechanisms, of course!). You'd think my work would be dark, moody, and morose, right? 

Nope.

I know, I don't get it either.

Art reminds me to live, to breathe, to enjoy, to savor. It makes me feel like I'm more than my depression. It's a safe space. A very, very colorful safe space. I like to think that when you buy my originals or prints, you get a piece of that space for yourself. Either that, or you just like colorful things. I'm down with either.

I hope my artwork sparks as much joy in you as it does in me!
